Since my earlier post was about snakes, I thought I’d share the picture of the Gray Banded Kingsnake (Lampropeltis alterna) I had in 2009. This is one of the most brilliantly colored snakes in the United States. This one was crimson red and gray. We had a younger juvenile that was tangerine and gray.
